Your own specially composed Celtic tune!
 | You can commission Moonrakers to compose, play and gift-wrap a tune for your special event. For instance, you may like the idea of having your very own “Wedding Tune” or “Anniversary Tune”. We can make a CD recording and a framed transcript of the tune as a gift and memento of the occasion. If you wish, Moonrakers will even come to play at your event.
Don’t worry if you know nothing about the styles of music on offer – we’ll help you decide. You could have a beautiful slow Celtic air, or a more up-tempo dance tune like a jig or reel. We’ll discuss with you the various styles with examples, then you choose which you prefer.
We can offer a ‘package’ that includes any one, or all, of the following:
A transcript of the tune, printed and framed. You can choose the title, if you wish. This can then be presented to the person(s) as a gift on their special day. |
A professionally produced CD recording of the tune, played by Moonrakers, and presented with a colour design (you choose) in a standard CD case. Provided our dates line up, we can also come to play at your event. We’ll send you a promotion pack that indicates what kind of set list we offer, how much we cost, etc.
Costs: The CD and printed/framed tune will cost £350. Although it is your tune, we will retain the copyright (otherwise it would cost you a lot more!). To have the band play at your wedding will cost about £450 in the UK, plus any additional travel expenses. Anywhere further than the UK needs to be negotiated with us (if you own a South Sea island, we’ll come for expenses only!).
