Reviews

The Moonrakers concert on 13 February 2009 included two Irish harps lent a very distinctive quality to the pieces they played, and the atmosphers was informal and friendly. Besides the harps, there was a very lively acoustic violin from Liz van Santen, and Jon Bennett, the group leader, himself played guitar, mandola, whistles and bodhran and sang solo or with Jo Daley. They attracted a large audience of all ages who came out at the end walking on air and humming their favourite songs.

Elizabeth Burchfield

Moonrakers raised the standard with a buoyant selection from the Celtic tradition....
